The simplest way to plan martial arts awards is to decide who will receive an award, choose trophies or medals that suit the occasion, confirm the wording and club logo, and order early enough for engraving and delivery. This guide helps instructors, tournament promoters and club organisers avoid last-minute problems.

Choose awards for the occasion
Grading presentations, interclub events and open tournaments have different needs. Grading awards often recognise progress, effort or improvement, while tournament awards normally distinguish places, divisions or special achievements.
Trophies for winners and special recognition
Martial arts trophies work well for winners, runners-up, outstanding performance and annual club awards. Use consistent styles across divisions where possible, then distinguish places through size, colour or engraving.
Medals for larger groups and divisions
Martial arts medals are useful when many competitors or students need recognition. Our main medal sizes are 50mm and 70mm. Bespoke medals are also available by quotation when you provide the requirements.
Prepare engraving and artwork correctly
There is no fixed engraving character limit, but more wording means smaller text. Around three or four words across three lines usually gives a clear result. If the wording would become difficult to read, we will contact you.
Upload logos as JPEG or PDF files. What you send is what we print, so artwork should be correct and ready to use. If artwork needs creating or modifying, arrange this with your graphic designer before submitting it.
Build an accurate quantity list
Before ordering, list every division, age or grade, the number of places being awarded, and any special awards. Check spelling and quantities carefully, and keep a copy of the final list. Promoters and larger orders can request a bulk-order quotation.
Allow for production and delivery
We aim to dispatch orders within one week, but during busy periods this can take up to two weeks. If awards are required by a particular date, add it to the order notes and then call the office on 01384 639999 so the team is aware. Production time and carrier delivery time are separate.
