Here are 10 fun activities that will keep children entertained and engaged this autumn:

1. Apple Picking

  • Why It’s Fun: Children love picking their own apples, and it’s a great way to get them involved in harvesting. Plus, they can make delicious apple treats afterward.

  • Bonus: Try a fun & healthy apple-tasting contest or make apple pie together and award them with our Baking Medals

2. Pumpkin Decorating

  • Why It’s Fun: Skip the carving and let the kids use paint, stickers, glitter, and fabric to decorate pumpkins. It’s less messy and safer for younger kids.

  • Bonus: Create a pumpkin “family” with different themes (monsters, animals, etc.). Hand out Pumpkin Medals for everyone!

3. Nature Scavenger Hunt

  • Why It’s Fun: Create a list of things to find in nature—like acorns, pine cones, colourful leaves, or a bird’s feather—and let kids explore. It’s a great way for them to learn about the environment.

  • Bonus: You can make it educational by adding colours, shapes, or numbers to the list. Check out our Maths Stickers

4. Corn Maze Adventure

5. Autumn Leaf Art

  • Why It’s Fun: Collect colourful leaves and make art with them. You can press them in books, make leaf rubbings, or even use them to create a collage or wreath.

  • Bonus: Take a walk and talk about different types of leaves to learn something new! SCHOOL ART AWARD - 1stplace4trophies

6. Creepy-Crawly Exploration

7. Outdoor Obstacle Course

8. Make Autumn-Themed Craft

  • Why It’s Fun: Create autumn-inspired crafts like pinecone animals, acorn necklaces, or paper plate scarecrows.

  • Bonus: Gift the crafts to family or hang them up around the house for seasonal décor.

9. Baking Fall Treats

10. Ghost Stories & Campfire

These activities mix creativity, learning, and physical activity while celebrating the magic of autumn.
